Man, I sure am grateful for this freelance writing project.
It has made it easy for me to be only a half of a failure at my goal of weekly blogging this year. Twice a month is still a vast improvement over last year. At the moment, I have more ideas than time, and I have some exciting news I've been keeping under my hat. So things are bound to pick up here in blog land soon enough.
If you liked Arches and Bryce Canyon National Parks, wait until you see Canyonlands (full itinerary here). It is Utah's largest and least crowded national park, and the views are nothing short of staggering. Here's my attempt to drum up some interest in Island in the Sky and Mesa Arch.
Add interest to your journal writing by focusing on contrasts. It can give you a strong angle to help focus your ideas. In this email, I called out two opposing ways to experience Canyonlands—from atop a towering mesa or from a river a thousand feet below. Alliteration, or the repetition of letter sounds, can also add polish to your words, as you'll see in the title: vistas and vertigo.
Note: I would combine several of these emails into a single blog post, but they're just. so. BIG.
