In conjunction with the launch of the book, I posted an inspiring interview with Stacy, and I asked The Daily Trumpet readers to answer this question: If there was a "UR2" message YOU'D like to impart to women everywhere, what would it be?
We got 53 incredible responses. If you need a little pick-me-up today, head over there NOW and read all the comments. By the time you're through, you'll feel strong, beautiful, empowered, forgiving, and generally uplifted. Sometimes blog comments are SO good that I feel the need to share them again, so they get the attention they deserve. And on that note...
Here are just a few favorites:"UR2worthy ... I spend so much time talking to myself, shushing that self-deprecating voice that keeps whispering at me. We all work so hard, and need to realize how worthy we are of praise and love and taking time for ourselves!"
~Kirsten
"UR2 Timid. Improvement requires that we leave our comfort zone. Jump in
and try something new. If it is positive keep going or try something
else."
~JeriP
"UR2 preoccupied. Soak up the moment you are in. Let the worries go."
~cuphalffull
"UR2 Beautiful. Not only do we need to remind ourselves that we are all
beautiful, strong women, but we need to leave this lasting impression
on the younger women in our lives. With much of the media and
advertising nowadays featuring stick-thin, digitally enhanced women, it
is up to us to teach these children that real beauty shines from the
inside out."
~sugarskyes
"UR2 concerned with what you think everyone else thinks about what you are doing - if it makes you happy then it is GR8T."
~hcatt
"UR2 blessed. Stop occasionally, look around you and take it all in -
everything you see, all of those blessings, they belong to YOU!"

I don't know about you, but I needed to hear those messages. I definitely have days (like YESTERDAY, for example) when I feel utterly inadequate. And I know I'm not alone in this. As women, we all feel that way sometimes, and it just takes a bit of positive self-talk to get out of the funk. So these messages really struck the right note for me today!
And lucky you, I have a copy of Stacy's awesome eBook to give away! Please leave a comment on this post sharing anything related to creativity or feelings of inadequacy, or perhaps penning your own "UR2 ...." message. I'll pick one random winner to get a free creative supercharge from Stacy Julian.
